Subject: Break in on Ballantine road
Wanted to bring to your attention an incident that occurred to me last
night. I was leaving for work this morning and when I went to my car I
noticed papers left thrown all over the seat and floor of my car. When I
looked further I noticed that my glove box and center console where wide
open. It appears as if someone was rifling through mine and my wife's cars.
We had several electronic devices including two GPS units and an iPhone that
were not taken, strangely, but all the loose change was. It appears as
though the thieves were only interested in money, although I did not have an
opportunity to do a thorough accounting of the contents. Both cars were left
unlocked.

Was hoping you could send our fellow neighbors an email with a heads up to
lock their cars a night. In the 15 years that I've lived on this street,
this is the first time I can recall an incident.
