The Agenda was approved
The Treasurer's Report was approved, subject to the addition of the 2nd CD balance.

• Steve Miller Action:  Ask Jack Nolan for a complete report, to include the 2nd CD balance; also ask Jack to reserve and pay for United Methodist church on Oct 8. (10/8/2013 TREASURER'S REPORT: page1 ; page 2 )

MINUTES APPROVED for the March 14, 2013 OHA meeting (one small change has been included in the calendar of events)
FALL OHA MEETING: Tue. Oct. 8, 2013, 7:30PM  (United Methodist Church)   The agenda will include Officer Elections.  Vivian Breen is willing to serve as VP. Vivian has a Green Meadow potential young person (willing to serve as President?)
Helen will provide coffee; Vivian will provide cookies
POSSIBLE MEETING TOPICS:

• panel discussion - why travel now?   "TRAVEL HINTS" for domestic and foreign travel
• Oak Hill hints - water/sewer line failures
• Forum for Oak Hill concerns
• Bill Butler to ask for a police speaker.   Bill Butler action.  Steve to send Bill summary of July vandalism, 3 year history, and police report for Holmdel and vicinity. 

The OHA MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT will propose that each person  invite10 neighbors, and further ask each person to invite all their friends and spouses.
OTHER FALL EVENTS:
OAK HILL ACTIVE MEN/WOMEN:  Sept 5, 8:30 breakfast at Sissy's.  Bill to email announcement; Steve to broadcast in this week's OakHill Update
HALLOWEEN PARADE: Saturday, October 26 (Rain date: Oct. 27)Karen Ituraldi will coordinate the Halloween Parade.   Helen volunteered to pick up coffee and donuts.   TheParade will end at Bill's house. The date does not compete withe Middletown Hullabaloo, to be held Oct 25.  Tricia Decker, Pelican Road, plans to handle 2014 Easter event, and has the decorations
FALL DINNER

• Proposed for Nov 3 (or Nov 4?)
• Possible venues: Rigoletto (last 2X); Toscanella; Carrabba; Outback;  Olive Garden - has room on the side; Waterfront restaurant - near Belford ferry; Vietnamese restaurant in Red Bank.   Molly Pitcher was the site of an enjoyable OHA cocktail party years ago.  Perhaps a cash bar to drop the Oak Hill price - VIVIAN ACTION: check prices at Molly Pitcher and Oyster Point.

Hold Wine & Cheese at someone's house?   (Like done in Texas?).
