Dear Oak Hill residents:
You may not be aware of-- but will be happy to discover-- the existence of the Oak Hill
Community Association. This organization has been up and running for over fifty years providing
social events and opportunities for adults and children to meet. In addition,we keep up with
developments within the Township, particularly those that may encroach upon the environs of
Oak Hill with a negative effect.
HERE LIST THE POINTS ON THE PLACARD OF WHAT WE HAVe DONE
In addition to acting as a watchdog, the OHCA has sponsored several clubs and interest groups.
In the past there have been theater, craft, luncheon and gourmet groups, as well as a garden
club and a book club. Today the book club and the active adult group still meet and promote
trips to the theater, unusual destinations and even a ball game or two! There is an evening
dinner in a local restaurant for adults and an End of School Pizza Party.
For the children there are a rollicking Halloween parade, a sweet Easter egg hunt and a visit
with the real Santa.
We are pleased to foster any group in which the you might be interested.
All this is accomplished in a rather casual fashion. There are two general membership meeting
per year for election of officers and speaker presentations.
At this time we are seeking to inject new life into the OHCA and encourage all to join. For a
mere $30 per year per family you receive an email newsletter with Oak Hill and Township events
a-- the good news and the not- so -good -but- necessary news (rowdy teens, the rare burglary
etc).
