(Rita Das): Thanks for all the information and analysis.  Couple of places where we can try to get some monies to fund the block party with a target budget of $4000:

(Glenn Cashion) Per your request, attached is an updated summary of estimated expenses and 2015 financials. I have also attached the expense summary for 2015 and ytd 2016.

Lastly, I have included the 2015 financial report.

2015 Expense Summary.xlsx ; 2015 year end OHCA Financial Statement ; 2016 Expense Summary.xlsx ; OHCA 2016 Expense Estimates-2.docx

 Some food for thought:

>> For 2016 expenses I used a midpoint figure for the Holiday Party ($750). If we are contemplating a more elaborate  Holiday Party than last year, we would need to estimate a much larger amount.

>> The net checking estimate of $2,450 does not include any block party expense.

>> If we do move forward with a block party, we should assume that the checking account would be greatly diminished.

>> We need approximately $900 for 2017 1st quarter expenses.

>> If we have a banner membership year in 2017, and hopefully start collecting dues early in the 1st Qtr, we should see our available funds start to come in earlier than this year. The optimistic estimate of 2017 dues collections is $8,000 (270 members), with an estimate of 2017 expenses of approximately $7,800 (WITHOUT a block party).

This analysis is solely that of the OHCA checking/operations account.
