Jack Nolan provided the membership file (I indexed a copy in our private OHA web site)

the file includes both 2012 and 2011 members (also contains names/emails/address/phone for PREVIOUS OHA members)

I was amazed that the 2011 and 2012 household membership count is almost identical (despite a large difference in mailing costs).

2012: (we mailed a self-return envelope, stuffed inside a larger envelop containing our 2012 newsletter)

246 members (incl 1 comp)

2011: (we mailed a single page –doubled sided newsletter), with a tear-off at the bottom for members to mail in their own envelope.;

247 members (incl 7 comp)

FYI, I maintain 2 types of email address lists:

299 email addresses for 2012 OHA memberships (including separate email addresses for some husbands & wives)

460 email addresses for present & past OHA members (incl some separate emails for husband & wife in the same household).

Rita’s Nov 4 dinner announcement says that non-members can 1st pay to join, and then join the discounted dinner.

Tonight, I forwarded Rita’s Nov 4 announcement to 2012 OHA members.

I could email the announcement to all past members as well.
