ATTENDEES: Bill Butler, Rita Das McKinney, Vivian Breen, Karen Iturralde, Oscar Iturralde, Ellen Butler, Lee Brewer, Steve Miller

- Treasurer's report (Oscar Iturralde)
- The OHCA bank account is a "Social" account at Wells Fargo. It has on-line access, and three or four authorized signers
- Provided Balance sheet as of 12/31/14
- Discussed and provided 2 insurance policies: General Liability ($664/yr), and Officer's Insurance ($1164/yr). Vivian Breen, as President, will write a letter to the insurance companies authorizing new address and Oak Hill treasurer.
- Listing of membership renewals/new members from Paypal; 73 todate; ~10% are thru PayPal (Karen)
- Karen/Oscar intend to "merge" the spreadsheet (containing the 73) with the old spreadsheet (containing all present and many previous members)
- Update on Maturity dates on CDs
- Update on status of signators and name change on bank accounts - Vivian and Oscar to meet at banks on Saturday, Mar 14 to make necessary changes
- Began reviewing 2015 expected expenses (requested by Vivian): ~$3K expected for 7 cards to be mailed in 2015
- CARD EXPENSES TO DATE: Santa card, dec, 2014: $385; Feb, 2015 $506; Mar, 2015 Easter $407 (cards, postage, shipping, tax)
Response to latest membership drive: Karen reported the majority of the 73 new members enrolled within 2 weeks of the Feb, 2015 card
- Responses to questions: majority? are retired; most agree to directory listing
MEMBERSHIP DRIVE and INCREASING OAK HILL AWARENESS
- Lee reported the OHCA is among the largest, or IS the largest homeowner association.
- Helen Duthie to be replaced by Bill Butler (temporarily)- as contact for members questions
- New streets & houses in Oak Hill - Karen to verify Oak Hill Estates and Red Hill Rd development (~4 houses) are on postcard distribution
- Board voted for best snow photo (and determined 3 runner-ups) Karen Itrurralde to distribute $25 gift card (food?) (and free OHCA membership - which OHCA should play up!)
- Lee had earlier circulated the dramatic increase in https://www.facebook.com/OakHillNJ traffic resulting from Karen's snow photo contest
- Karen is arranging to delivery of the final ~200 March 9, 2015 march-Easter-postcard. Mail carriers will be Rita, Vivian and Steve. For reference: Postal Codes ; OHCA official streets
- The board agreed that the OHCA Logo (and magnets) will be labeled "Oak Hill Community"
- Bill reported the formation of a "Membership Committee". A focus will be providing activities for each demographic: retired, middle aged, and young (with children)
- Lee proposed a monthly "newsletter" with regular specific sections A possibility is to publicize Middletown restrictions on door-to-door solicitation.
- Bill proposes identifying smaller "blocks" (such as "Lower Borden", and OHCA encouraging "meet neighbor" activities within each smaller block.
- Vivian proposed to drop the "newcomer comp"
- A total of 7 cards are proposed to be mailed in 2015. Subsequent cards might be April- to announce May 5 Gen Meeting and May 15-16 Neighborhood block sale; May/June card to announce summer programs, etc.
LEGALITIES:
- The OHCA board does not want to make unnecessary changes in OHA/OHCA legal status. Oscar will work with Pat DeSan and Rebecca Iacobellis on Association naming issues, and NJ/Federal registration, as required.
2015 ACTIVITIES, & RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE
- Bill Butler reported on the delightful March 3 dinner at Bonefish Grill
- May 5 General Meeting topics: Bill Butler reported that Randall Gabriellan is prepared to talk about Oak Hill history (he has a nice 4 page handout). Steve Miller reported, earlier, that Phil Welch is ready for a 15 minute talk on Family Promise (he has headed Family Promise for last 30 years (also known as Interfaith Hospitality Network) Helen Duthie is out of town, and did not report on progress in reserve a room at United Methodist Church on Lincroft-Middletown Road
- August 8 Sunset Cruise: Bill Butler to explore "Capt Dan" out of Atlantic Highlands.
- "New Foods - New Places To Dine Club". - Lee Brewer reported he will lead dinners at the initial three sites
- Additional activities might be "Bunco Group" and "Young Mom's Club"
NEW BUSINESS
Bill Butler will provide a description of open OHCA positions (including VP Social Media (Communications Director), and VP of IT. Email, Facebook, web, and nextdoor.com will all request nominations and invite attendance for a vote during May 5 General Meeting. Rita Das McKinney volunteered to run for OHCA President.
The board approved a resolution to pay up to $300 to repair Karen's car fender, inflicted by a mailbox during Karen's February mail run. (Karen later stated the repair cost is $256
